The event kicked off on February 26 with AWS taking center stage. Hafiz Hassan, AWS Public Sector Country Manager, set the tone with an inspiring opening session. He highlighted AWS’s commitment to supporting Malaysia’s education sector and the immense potential of their industry-leading cloud and AI capabilities. Hannah Gapes, AWS Education BD, APJ, followed with a powerful session on “Harnessing the Power of AWS for Malaysian Education.” She shared real-world success stories and insights on how AWS’s Generative AI tools are already enhancing teaching methods, improving administrative efficiency, and transforming campus experiences worldwide. Next, Nikhil Anand, AWS Education SA, APJ, captivated the audience with his session on “Generative AI Solutions for Higher Education.” Through live demos, he showcased four groundbreaking AI-driven tools: the Course Curator, Campus Assistant, AI Grading Assistant, and Course Feedback Analyzer. These innovations demonstrated how AI can simplify complex processes and enhance the learning journey for both educators and students. The live demonstrations provided a glimpse into how these tools could be seamlessly integrated into existing educational frameworks, offering practical and scalable solutions.
